Doctrinal Statement

DOCTRINAL STATEMENT - WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in God, the Father, Creator of the heavens and the earth.

We believe that God is holy righteous and merciful.

We believe that man was created by God, in His own image, and so, was made perfect and upright to glorify God.

We believe because of disobedience, man brought sin into the world, that because of such sin, man has fallen from grace with God.

We believe that Jesus Christ, begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, is thereby the only begotten Son of God.

We believe, that the Lord Jesus Christ was and is both God and man, and that he died as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sins, and in that all who believe on Him have eternal life.

We believe in the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, that He ascended into heaven and there is Our Great Intercessor.

We believe in the visible return of Jesus as King, to gather His Church, and at His return, the reward of the righteous and condemnation of the unrighteous will take place.

We believe that by receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, a new birth takes place by the aid of the Holy Spirit and we become the children of God.

We believe there are two sacraments commanded by Jesus. Baptism, whereby an outside showing of an inside change is demonstrated^ and the taking of the Lord s Supper, whereby we partake of His holy body and His blood, to show forth His death until He comes again.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, thereby showing us His love, nature and His plan of salvation.

We believe in, and affirmed by the Bible, the blessedness of the saved in Jesus Christ, and the eternal conscious punishment of the lost
